The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä is is constructed arround a series of spacious split-log ties mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The city is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a city of Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä's size could have. The city's well-designed, yet cheep have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.

Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä’s streets. A look around Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä long.

The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

History

Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä used to be much richer, but something happened in the last 5 years to crush its source of prosperity. Different factions of the community might be trying to grasp at the remaining dregs of wealth, others might try to restart the failed industry, and some might look for a new livelihood. Any group or entity thought responsible for the collapse is likely to be treated very harshly, and some locals might find profit in shifting the blame to their enemies.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä lost 242 people, 281 livestock, and 43 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 113, when members of Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä's militia enacted an operation to patrol a specific area to dissuade the enemy from their current activities. The operation was complicated by a key segment of the operation that deepened entirely on a stealth mission going perfectly. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in a stalemate for Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Aŵ Nâwr Ni̋ēkēä's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
